About EaBFitness.co.uk
In 2015, I decided to complete a Swedish Massage Course, with a view to helping people with stress and pain. My interest in the workings of the human body and mind was then piqued, so I went on to qualify in many other massage modalities, including Indian Head Massage and Reflexology, and became a Meditation and Mindfulness Practitioner.
In the latter part of 2015, I started to get into running, completing my first ever 10k in December 2015 and I then increased my swimming, started cycling, which lead me into the world of Triathlons. This increase in activity, meant I started to get niggling injuries, so I decided it would be great to understand why I was getting injuries and how to prevent and fix them. In 2017 I completed my Level 3 Sports Massage course, followed in 2018 by my Level 4, and in June 2021, I qualified as a Bodymaster Method Practitioner under the guidance of the brilliant John Gibbons:
'John Gibbons brings a host of discrete physical therapy disciplines together in his philosophy of Ultimate Bodymastery. John’s Bodymaster Method® approaches the body as a complex integrated unit, where one dysfunction may require more than one area of expertise.' Ref BGi.uk.
Alongside the massage modalities, I qualified as a Pilates instructor, Yoga instructor and Personal Trainer, as I believe 'A healthy mind and healthy body = a healthy and better life'
In the last eighteen months, I completed Dry Cupping and Dry Needling with the fabulous Dawn Morse of Core Elements, and qualified as an Indoor Cycle Instructor.
As a hands on therapist and physical practitioner, it is important to stay up-to-date with all new legislation, trends and scientific study, which is why I continue to grow my range of skills, so I can give the best services to my clients.
